eDziecko

One application, eight modules

eDziecko runs the administrative side of a nursery, kindergarten or school: who was present, what they ate, what the parent owes, who collected the child and who entered the building. In continuous development since 2011.

The modules

An institution licenses the whole platform or only the parts it needs.

School canteen

Meals paid by card or QR code

After-school care

Verified handover of the child

Enrolment

The daily record, kept digitally

How it works in practice

Meals are ordered by default

Every enrolled child is signed up for meals automatically. The parent reports an absence, not an order. Many competing systems work the other way round: the parent has to order and pay for meals every month, and a child whose parent forgot arrives to find no food, and staff with no idea what to do. Institutions usually discover this difference only after they have deployed something else.

Three ways to register an event, or a mix of them

Proximity cards, QR codes, or no device at all — and a hybrid setup where different parts of the institution use different methods. The same chip card can register attendance, collect a meal in the canteen and open the door of the building.

Collecting a child is verified

After-school care supports two options and the institution picks one: the parent scans a QR code at the pick-up point, or confirms collection in the application while at the school, with location used to verify presence. In the QR variant no position is recorded anywhere.

A progressive web app, not a native one

eDziecko installs on Android, iOS, Windows and macOS straight from the browser. There is nothing to roll out and nothing to install on the institution’s own servers.

Frequently asked questions

Can an institution license only some modules?

Yes. An institution licenses the whole platform or only the parts it needs. The modules share data about the child, so nothing has to be entered twice.

Do parents have to order meals every month?

No. Every enrolled child is signed up for meals automatically; the parent reports an absence instead. Many competing systems work the other way round, and a child whose parent forgot arrives to find no food.

Is any hardware required?

No — that is the institution’s choice. eDziecko works with proximity cards, with QR codes, or with no device at all, and these can be mixed within one institution.

How is a child’s collection verified?

The institution picks one of two options: the parent scans a QR code at the pick-up point, or confirms collection in the application while at the school. In the QR variant no position is recorded anywhere.

Does anything need to be installed on our servers?

No. eDziecko runs in the browser and installs as a progressive web app on Android, iOS, Windows and macOS. The institution keeps no infrastructure of its own.

What language is the interface in?
